Okay, chances are you won't think this is funny.
But if you're reading this, you are a) a confessed theatre dork, or b) my boyfriend.
The director of our text project left the following valentine for me after a rehearsal, printed out on the tiniest scrap of paper with sticker hearts attached:
'Dear Ann,
You have the most beautiful (outside) eyes."
Ha.

Ann, your director has a cruel method of delivering backhanded compliments. I would say you have beautiful Italian eyes on the inside and out.
Not as eloquent as director guy I know . . . but heartfelt.
PS - Why do you not have Hot Hot Heat in your list of Canadian Indie bands????
